The longest and darkest of it. Barely moves, and never startles.
The Sleep channel holds the longest and least eventful pieces on Longwave — extended low drones, a slow prelude, and ambient pieces that change so gradually you cannot say when one thing became another. Nothing in it has a sudden entrance, a bright transient or a key change that could pull you back from the edge of sleep.
Volume matters more here than track choice. Set it low enough that the music sits under the sound of the room rather than over it, and it will stop registering as something to listen to.
The timer button in the player stops playback after 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes or three hours, or at the end of the current track, and fades out rather than cutting. That way the music covers the part of the night where you are falling asleep and is gone by the time you are deeply asleep.
Some people fall asleep faster to steady sound than to music. If that is you, try brown noise, or rain for something less flat.
